1) What is Saniprocare?

2) What is the Active Ingredient of Saniprocare?

3) How does Hypochlorous Acid Kill bacteria?

Hypochlorous acid reacts readily with a variety of microbial sub-cellular compounds, interferes with metabolic processes, and kills individual bacterium exposed within milliseconds. Hypochlorous acid causes the disintegration or rupture of the cell membrane, resulting in the release of cell contents and the subsequent death of the cell. This process, called lysis, ensures that resistive bacterial strains can never develop.

Saniprocare is completely safe for use by humans and animals as it dissipates within seconds of use with no product build up. It is safe for the user with no possible side effects on skin, eyes or inhalation. 5) How is Saniprocare different?

Saniprocare is different in many ways as compared to various options available in the market today. The most important thing to note is that Saniprocare does not require any special handling issue by the user as it is made from electrolyzed water & salt, it is non flammable unlike alcohol based disinfectants and yet contains anti-microbial properties which can handle a broad spectrum of pathogens including H1N1,C.Diff, Staph, Ecoli & HIV as well.   • 6) What is the ORP measurement for Saniprocare?

    Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) is related to the concentration of oxidizers or reducers in a solution, and their activity or strength. It provides an indication of the solution’s ability to oxidize or reduce another material. In disinfection applications, the ORP value of the solution is more meaningful than milligrams per liter (mg/L) measurements of free residual chlorine or total chlorine. This is because the equilibrium between two forms of chlorine in the water shifts with changing pH. The molecular form of free chlorine in water is HOCl, or hypochlorous acid, a strong, fast-acting oxidizer. As the pH increases, the HOCl converts to its ionic form, OCl- (the hypochlorite ion), which is a weaker, slower acting oxidizer. The Saniprocare solution has an ORP measurement of approximately 800 + millivolts (mV). An ORP of 650 mV has been proven by the World Health Organization to provide instantaneous E. coli destruction. Oxidation Reduction Potential measurements of between 650 mV and 700 mV are proven to be highly effective at killing dangerous pathogens almost instantaneously. This is yet another reason that Saniprocare is so effective!

    7) Is Saniprocare a disinfectant or a sanitizer?

    Saniprocare is a disinfectant as it kills all the micro-organisms that it comes in contact with. On the other hand, a Sanitizer only reduces the amount of micro-organisms that it comes in contact with.

    8) Does Saniprocare rust metallic surface?

    Being water based, we have carefully managed to obtain the pH level of Saniprocare well above the level where rust formation could be an issue. There is no rust causing strains with the usage of Saniprocare.

    9) Does Saniprocare contains Bleach?

    Saniprocare does not uses any bleach and yet attains a disinfection level of about 100 X times more than bleach. It is a milder solution than most liquid bleach mixtures, but it is an exponentially more effective sanitizer than liquid bleach. It is difficult for many people to understand how a substance that is milder than bleach can be up to 120 times more effective than liquid bleach. The answer lies in chemistry! Bleach relies on lye (highly alkaline solution usually of potassium hydroxide used in washing & cleaning) to maintain chlorine’s efficacy, which is why it is so harsh. On the other hand, Saniprocare relies of maintaining the pH of the electrolyzed brine solution where between 5-7 pH, the amount of HOCl (active disinfectant ingredient in Saniprocare) is upto 95%. The main ingredient in bleach is hypochlorite, whereas Saniprocare is primarily hypochlorous acid. Hypochlorous acid is 100 times more powerful an oxidant and disinfectant than is the hypochlorite ion known as bleach, yet it is completely safe. Bleach, however, is known to be cytotoxic, can cause severe tissue damage, and is a breathing irritant.

    10) How frequently does the surface needs to be cleaned with Saniprocare?

    The topic of repetitive usage of Saniprocare is subjective to the component, equipment or the surface that it is used for cleaning as every surface or equipment tends to catch microbial activity at various time intervals and due to various factors. For Example: A surgical instrument needs to be disinfected every time before performing a new surgery whereas a reception desk or doctor table can be cleaned once or twice a day. The idea is to provide an ICU level disinfection conveniently to all common touch points where it is or was neglected or not performed upto the mark. We recommend usage of Saniprocare to clean a clinic, pharma lab, tables, chairs, door knobs, toilets etc. atleast once a day.

    11) How to use Saniprocare?

    Saniprocare must be used with general Spray & Wipe protocols. Turn the nozzle to “Spray” or “Steam” position. Keep the spray bottle atleast 15 cms from the surface or equipment. Spray generously until the area is saturated with Saniprocare solution. Let the solution rest for 30 seconds and wipe with clean cloth or tissue.
    No need of additional rinsing of surface or equipment that has been disinfected.

    12) Where to use Saniprocare?

    Saniprocare can be used on the following places for disinfection purpose:

    Furniture:

    Tables, Chairs, Racks, Stools, Doors, Cabinets, Cupboards, Recliners, Sofas, Bed, Reception tables, Doctor table, Dental Chairs, ladders and other areas with touch points.

    Instruments:

    All types of medical/surgical instruments can be disinfected using Saniprocare. It is 100 X times more effective than saline or hypochlorite solution. Surgical trays, Dental instruments, Ortho instruments, Stethoscopes, Catheter tubes, Endotracheal tubes and more.

    Hospital Rooms:

    Contaminant Spills:

    Saniprocare can be sprayed directly on blood stains & spill and other contaminant stains or spills. Saniprocare is non-flammable.

    Critical areas in a hospital & pharma labs require the users to wear safety shoes and safety dress. Saniprocare can be sprayed over safety shoes and safety dress for enhanced protection to the working staff and environment as well.

    Saniprocare is effective against Mould & Mildrew formation on walls which is essentially a fungal activity and usually develops from airborne spores. Mildrew is the most commonly founds black mould on walls which can quickly spread over a larger area if left untreated.

    13) Isin’t being too clean bad?

    14) Is Saniprocare Toxic?

    Any product that is abused or misused can be considered toxic. For example, if one drinks two gallons of water or 7.5 Liters of water in one sitting, it would be toxic & lethal. The HOCl, our principle content is such that it would take one person to drink more than 50+ liters of Saniprocare to die because of HOCl toxicity. We strongly recommend Saniprocare for external usage only.

    15) Can I use this to rinse down degreasers or other cleaners?

    It is completely safe to rinse down degreasers and soaps that are labeled as safe for use with chlorine products. Ammonia products or products that are not compatible for use with chlorine products must be avoided.

    16) Is Saniprocare solution safe for septic systems?

    Yes. The free chlorine in the Saniprocare solution bonds with organic matter and breaks down quickly. This makes Saniprocare septic and sewer safe.

    17) Can Saniprocare be used as a Hand Sanitizer?

    Yes. Doctors at the University of Tokyo Hospital found that electrolyzed water containing 20 to 22 ppm of hypochlorous acid produced a reduction of Staphylococcus auras and E. Coli equal to chlorine bleach at 60 ppm.
