THE RUST REMOVER FOR THE 21st
CENTURY
The use of EVAPO-RUST for removal of rust from any type or
size of iron components is very easy and simple.Basically
the rusty area needs to be in contact with liquid EVAPO-RUST
for a sufficent time depending upon the severity of rust.
However, EVAPO-RUST can be used in different ways for different
applications of rust removal, as described below:-
1.DIP
METHOD
a) Take sufficient quality of EVAPO-RUST required to submerse
the rusty component/area in a suitable container/tank, made
of plastic, SS, and MS etc. Submerse the rusty components/area.
The duration for de-rusting will depend upon the severity
of rust. For flash rust removal it takes about 15 minutes
and few hours for removal of medium to severe rust.
b) You may observe the components during the de-rusting
process to know the status. When the de-rusting is complete,
take out the components, rinse in water if so required before,
give a clean dip of EVAPO-RUST and dry before storage.
2.ULTRASONIC METHOD
a) Take sufficent quality of EVAPO-RUST to fill the ultrasonic
tank to the required level. Submerse the componets and switch
on ultrasonic power. The duration for de-rusting will depend
upon the severity of rust. For flash rust removal it takes
about a minute and about an hour for removal of medium to
sever rust. Basically this is a faster way to remove rust.
For further process or rust protection of components you
may practice the same as mentioned in 1(b)
3.WRAP
METHOD
a) This method is applicable for the bulky surfaces to be
de-rusted which are too large to be submersed. Take a suitable
size of Swathe or Sponge. Soak it in EVAPO-RUST and wrap
it over the rusty surface. Cover it properly with a plastic
sheet to avoid the evaporation lose of EVAPO-RUST. Open
and remove the Swathe or Sponage after the rust is removed.
Duration will depend upon the severity of rust. The above
exercise may be repeated if desired resulty are not achieved
in one time.
b) For further process or rust protection of surfaces, you
may practise the same as mentioned in 1(b).
